Meezan Bank is looking to hire in the Information Technology Department at its Head Office in Karachi!

01- Business Analyst

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s in Information Technology (Computer Sciences / Software Engineering or any other relevant field) from an HEC recognized institute/university.

Experience:

Candidate must possess 3 to 4 years of work experience in Information Technology, preferably in the banking sector with knowledge of banking applications, delivery channels. They should also possess hands-on experience in systems development across multiple projects of banking systems implementations.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting meeting with the Stakeholders and carrying out detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and proposing solutions for the business

Defining the functional business requirements and designing detailed Functional Specifications along with the identification of User Interfaces, Process Flows and System Integration requirements.

Performing and understanding system integration and Services document with latest technologies.

Acting as a bridge between all internal (IT, Business, Operations, etc.) and external stakeholders.

Developing relationship with stakeholders, working with them to optimize and enhance the solution.

Facilitating testing teams (System Integration Testing, Quality Assurance Testing, User Acceptance Testing) in carrying out different testing requirements.

Improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.

Skills & Knowledge:

Self-motivated, innovative, analytical thinker, dynamic problem solver with ability to take initiatives, ownership and decisions.

Understanding of Business process, problem identification, transformation, improvement and change enablement.

Understanding of IT Architecture, Core Banking, Middleware and Delivery Channels.

Knowledge of IT development standards, processes and procedures and understanding of Quality standards.

Effective analytical, communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and system development processes.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute/university

Testing of financial & non-financial applications.

Developing of test cases and test plan.

Preparing test report.

Performing load and stress testing through J-Meter.

Knowledge of software engineering concepts, SDLC, SQA and testing, concepts of OOP and database, basic knowledge of testing tools like Selenium and J-Meter
